JR. Coach Uzezi ( uzi ) – Westfield, NJ 2017
Class of 2020 at Westfield High school. I started playing volleyball in eighth grade and ever since it's been my passion! In fact, one of the very first volleyball camps I participated in was at crush! This is my second year working at crush as I have refereed and coached in the summer. It has always been a dream of mine to share my passion of playing with those who are looking to just start and I can’t think of a better program to do it with. I am excited to be back with Crush and doing what I love!
JR Coach Emily – Westfield, NJ 2017
I’ve always had a love for volleyball, even when I was younger, but it was hard to find opportunities to play at my age. When we found Crush I fell in love with the positive and team oriented spirit of the program. The enthusiasm of the coaches, and the energy that everyone brings to the group is unmatched by any other volleyball program I know. I continued with crush —going to clinics, and then playing in their leagues— until around seventh grade, when I started playing club volleyball. I played club at the national level for three years, and for my high school team for two years. Now I enjoy playing both beach and indoor volleyball for fun, and working as a coach. It makes me so happy to see more and more girls getting involved in the sport every year. And I love being able to further the girls’ excitement and skillset to help them be successful in this amazing sport, wherever it takes them.
